Extreme Enduro Racing
First time in Scotland!

Enduro riders are normally found in the countryside riding through quarries, forests, fields and any other nasty pieces of ground that can test their suspension travel, the intrepid riders up to their knees and beyond in mud or water. Enduro riders don't race head to head but race against the clock, competing to be the fastest around a marked special stage.

In recent years however a new type of enduro racing has appeared. Extreme Enduro has brought head to head racing into the cities and indoor arenas of Europe. Racing over a course of man made obstacles the winner is quite simply the first man to complete the course and take the chequered flag.

Possibly the best known form of Extreme Enduro is the Red Bull Romaniacs event which takes place every year in July in the town of Sibiu in Romania. Four days of competetive riding with about 200 Km to be ridden each day soon seperates the men from the boys. On the day before the start of the event proper a prologue is held in the main street of Sibiu. It is from this prologue that we draw our inspiration for the extreme enduro racing that you will see at Alford. Watch the videos to get an idea of what you can expect.
Our star man riding in the Extreme Enduro is Graham Jarvis, winner of the Hell's Gate Enduro, Red Bull Romaniacs winner and multiple British Trials Champion. Also coming along from the Triple D Motorsport Team are Jonny Walker and Oliver Hart both experienced extreme enduro riders. Another five invited riders will make eight competitors in total.
